Using the sounds

You may download sounds for use as a lock sound or similar personal use. Each sound’s page shows its licence. Original and CC0 sounds have no further conditions; sounds under an attribution licence ask you to keep the credit if you share them.

Submitting sounds

By submitting a sound you confirm you created it or have the right to share it, and that it doesn’t include material from films, games, TV, music or other people’s work. You keep your copyright. Depending on the option you choose, you either dedicate the sound to the public domain (CC0), or you give TeslaLockChime a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process (for example trim, level and convert) and distribute it with credit to you. We may decline or remove any submission.

Using the site

Don’t scrape the site in bulk, attempt to overload it, or try to get around its limits or protections.

No warranty

Sounds are provided as they are. We check that every file meets the car’s requirements, but we can’t guarantee how any particular vehicle or software version will behave. Use sounds considerately and follow local rules about vehicle noise.
